Refund and Cancellation Policy

Our scope of work, fees and payment arrangements are confirmed privately in our quotation or engagement terms.

1. Ending an engagement

You may notify us in writing if you wish to end an engagement. We will explain the applicable professional obligations and court procedures. A cancellation request does not itself suspend court dates or other deadlines.

2. Fees and expenses

Any amount payable or refundable will be assessed under the agreed engagement terms and applicable law, taking account of work performed and expenses properly incurred or committed on your behalf. Ending an engagement does not automatically entitle you to a full refund.

We will reconcile payments against amounts properly due and explain any balance payable or refundable. Unused funds held for disbursements will be returned, subject to any lawful retention for outstanding expenses.

3. Duplicate or mistaken payments

Please contact us with your invoice or payment reference. We will verify the transaction and arrange any refund due.

4. Refund arrangements

Refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payer through the original payment method, subject to verification, applicable law and payment-provider requirements. Where necessary, we will confirm a lawful alternative with the person entitled to the refund. We will communicate the outcome and expected processing time after reviewing the request.
